THE ‘CYBER SAFE’ SONG AND MUSIC VIDEO
At the heart of your Activity Pack is the ‘Cyber Safe’ song, written to be sung time and again and to help children remember the four simple rules they should follow in order to stay safe online (the ‘Cyber Safe’ rules). In addition to the music track is our original music video which is an integral part of this resource.

RULE 1: When online, don’t share your name with anyone - using a nickname’s much more fun!
RULE 2: Remember that when online, sometimes people lie. This is why you should never share
details like your number or where you live.
RULE 3: When online don’t be cruel - be nice to people, like you are at school.
RULE 4: When online, if something makes you feel, ‘No way!’ tell a trusted adult straight away.

FOUR DRAMA GAMES
Your pack contains four easy to deliver drama games, each designed to teach one of the four ‘Cyber Safe’ rules (above).

You won’t need any complicated equipment to play our drama games, nor a huge space. All games can be played in your classroom although you may, at times, wish to move a few tables or chairs out of the way, or play outside.

Each game is physical, fun, and not only helps children learn how to stay safe online, but also targets the development of important skills:

Communication
Concentration
Confidence
Cooperation

FOUR EXTENSION TASKS
Your pack also contains four printable activities; extension tasks that aim to cement each of the four ‘Cyber Safe’ rules.

DIFFERENTIATION
Whatever their ability, all children will be able to join in and participate in all our games and therefore differentiation is by outcome. Where appropriate, other activities have been differentiated by task.
