What's included?

Join our course, 'How to Become an Expert in Early Years Imaginative Play', and you'll benefit from a whole range of brilliant resources and expert advice. There's no time limit, you'll have lifetime access to the lessons, the resources and our ongoing support!

36 pre-recorded lessons which include teacher demonstrations
Our pre-recorded lessons are stored on our online learning hub. You'll receive your own unique login when you sign up, and it is from here that you'll watch the lessons and download all of the accompanying drama and play resources. Your progress through the lessons is tracked, so it's really simple to pause your learning, log back in at a later date, and pick up where you left off. The lessons are typically less than five minutes long, so it's convenient to fit into a busy schedule.

Co-founder Sarah Rijnen delivers the lessons. Her friendly, down to earth approach will leave you smiling, and excited to get going! As practitioners, we know that one of the best ways to learn is to observe an experienced teacher in action. That's why so many of our pre-recorded lessons feature Sarah demonstrating how to use our techniques. Even if you have no prior experience of using drama with young children, you'll be confident in no time. (And once you start, you'll be hooked!)

Challenges
We very much promote active learning and as such set a series of challenges throughout the course so you can try out what you learn either at home or in your setting, as appropriate to your circumstances.

Workbook
Our downloadable workbook outlines all of our drama techniques and gives step-by-step guides to facilitating our drama games and classroom management strategies. There's also space to take notes.

Drama games
The course includes a downloadable pack of ten original Pyjama Drama games for you to have fun playing with your early years children once you have mastered our drama techniques.

Bonus videos
Seven bonus teacher demonstration videos show you how to apply our techniques to multiple themes.

Expert advice and lifetime support
Everyone who takes the course will have a direct line via email to one of our co-founders who will be on hand to offer advice and reassurance for as long as you need. You'll also become a member of our online support group, 'The Pyjama Drama Learning Academy' where you can meet likeminded professionals who are using our resources and techniques with preschool children. Our co-founders and trainers can often be found hanging out there too, so there's always someone to help.

If you choose to pay a little bit more for hybrid learning, you'll also meet via webinar with your trainer three times during the course. And if you are opting for in-person training, you will of course meet your trainer in-person and spend the day with them.
