A powerful circle time activity

If you work with children in their early years, or if you're studying to gain an early years qualification, you'll know all about the benefits of singing with young children. If you work in an early years setting, the likelihood is you sing with children on a daily basis. Singing boosts well-being, confidence, language development and sense of belonging. And when you add in an imaginative approach, the potential benefits are boosted tenfold!

Even if you don't consider yourself to be particularly 'good' at drama, or if you feel daunted by the idea of using drama with early years children, we challenge you to give yourself five minutes to watch this free lesson before you judge whether or not you feel capable of using drama in your setting.

We believe this free, short lesson (presented by co-founder Sarah Rijnen) will show you just how easy it is to use simple EYFS drama techniques to transform the way you sing nursery rhymes (and other songs) with young children - forever!

Try the technique out in your setting and I guarantee with just a little bit of practise, and with your growing confidence of using the technique, you'll be amazed at the response you'll get from the children. And if you love it? Think about looking into our CPD course, 'How to Become an Expert in Early Years Imaginative Play' here.
